Within this blog series I am going to tell you how you can grow your glutes and get a larger bum, but I'm also going to make sure that you are aspiring towards this goal for the right reasons. You might have clicked on this article to specifically get a Kim Kardashian bum, but you aren't going to get that from me.
Fuck Kim K and fuck everything she stands for. She might have worked hard for her wealth but rest assured she did not work hard for her arse. The worst thing you could possibly do is fall victim into thinking that these sorts of assets will make you internally happy when you are moving closer to eternally lost.
Yep, couldn't agree more. The wrong foundation colour is definitely the most important crisis on the planet..
Now, I have absolutely nothing against Kim Kardashian despite the intro, but what I do have a problem with is people not feeling good enough because social media bombards us with bullshit. What I do have a problem with is people not feeling good enough because they are constantly comparing themselves to unrealistic figures (who do not admit their surgery or use of photoshop). This is going to be a blog post about growing your glutes, but let's make sure we are doing it for ourselves rather than trying to keep up with the Kardashians.
Tomorrow, we live in an age of comparing ourselves to others. Tomorrow, we live in an era made of false illusions. Tomorrow, we live in a world filled with unfulfillment, bombarded with bullshit and always made to feel like we aren't quite good enough.
Today never arrived. - William Turnerspeare, 2021
I am here to tell you that you are good enough, because quite simply you're fortunate to be alive and alive as a human, the alpha animal on planet earth. That is good enough. We made it.
Now, this is not going to be a depressing blog post about social media, in fact, I aim to uplift you and inform you, so what are the reasons we should be aspiring towards growing our glutes?
We should be growing our glutes for a number of reasons..
1. Health - exercising your glutes will make you healthier in terms of physical health (strength, endurance, stamina) but also mental health
2. Posture - a lot of postural deviations arise because of weak glutes, meaning other body parts such as your hips, lower back, hamstrings and quads might be overactive which is potentially causing you pain and discomfort.
3. YOURSELF - the beauty of living species on Earth is that we are designed to evolve, we can trigger the evolutionary response by breaking down muscle fibres in our glutes to the point that they regrow stronger. This takes hard work and sacrifice which nobody pleasantly wants to do, but through exercise we release endorphins and it makes us feel fucking good mate. The actual growing part is a symbol and reminder that what we are doing is working. The hard-work is paying dividends.
As stated in a prior blog post, we can mould our own specific genes like art through the stress response of training, and if you are developing and creating the strongest version of YOURSELF then that is all that matters and that is all you can do.
Stop looking outwards, you are not that girl on Instagram and you shouldn't want to be that girl on Instagram because you are enough, you are special and you are fucking lucky to be alive. Work on yourself for the right reasons and do things that align with your own personal values. If getting bum implants aligns with your own personal values and you are doing it for yourself then that is absolutely fair play. As a wise man once said - "You do you hun x".
RIGHT, you are either still reading or you are looking up plastic surgeons for bum implants, but for those of you that are looking to grow your glutes it's about time I tell you that all the juicy bum growing tips are going to be in "Growing Your Glutes Volume 2.0" so that this blog post doesn't transpire into an unwanted short story.
I sincerely apologise for clickbaiting you into this article, but there is no point aspiring and growing your glutes before the fundamental values are laid out. This way you can determine if bettering yourself is the right path for you. I wouldn't feel comfortable promoting the growing of glutes in an attempt to keep up with the Kardashians because I couldn't disagree more with that outlook, which is fundamentally why this blog post had to be made before we could get into the tips & knowledge.
